I’m Not Feeling You

I know it’s like Video Wednesday.

This song is a few months old, but I didn’t know there was a video, but there is, and it’s awesome. The thing is, “political” rap is really boring, like I’d rather eat my socks than listen to a Common record. Talib Kweli seems like a cool guy, but he’s a terrible rapper. But I’m really into this whole elders of gangster rap making “conscious” records. Ice Cube, Nas, and Jay’s political records sound like the world changing, and I wish Oprah would talk about that.

Let me just say this: what we have here is a preemptive-counter strike post. See, I get pretty down on Hillary. Mostly because I hate her. But I hate her because she’s a liar and because she’s base. And also evil. Not because she’s a lady. I like ladies, my grandma’s a lady, and I love my grandma. Similarly, Hillary will never be president. However, I saw this on Jezebel (I read Jezebel and you can suck it) and I think it’s worth watching because, even though these comments are not why she’s lost, it doesn’t mean the comments aren’t fucked… plus, you all know how I feel about Chris Mathews
