Sure, being a college-educated New York liberal I should know better, but lately I’ve started to lose faith in the NYT’s policy of keeping each of their reporters in a seperate, hermetically sealed room. I’m even beginning to suspect that forcing those reporters and editors to pledge to read the other sections of the paper might not be a good idea.
You know, because, I’m not like pro bank robber or anything, but reporting that there’s a surge in bank robberies because there aren’t enough security barriers the same day you run this on the front page seems a little… I don’t know… completely retarded.
Also, I’ve always been, and always will be, a little bit pro bank robber.

My point is that there are a lot of people of in New York State and, maybe you didn’t realize it but you picked the most boring one. Maybe it’s not your fault, maybe she told you she has a baby arm growing out her head, but you shouldn’t have taken her word for it, you should have felt her head David Paterson, because she doesn’t have a baby arm growing out of her head and she’s really boring.
Nothing screams getting rid of waste and inefficiencies like creating a new high level position with a preposterous name. Do you think she gets a whole staff to eliminate waste and inefficiencies? I bet she gets her own stationary and a car to get rid of waste and innefficiencies. Whew, I feel better about that 1.2 Trillion dollar deficit already. At least it’s chief performance officer and not like “not spending money czar.”
