I’m Not Feeling You

I know its not Kermit, but here’s what happened: I’ve been listening to some Acid King lately (if you don’t know, get on that, for serious), ’cause it feels right for the Korean winter, and they do this cover of a BTO song. One thing that I didn’t know about myself is that I really like BTO a lot. Kind of.

So three Canadian hard rock bands later, I was looking up April Wine songs on YouTube.  Which brings us to the masterpiece of crazy above.

And I say masterpiece of crazy because like, sure, “Why Sandra Bullock?” That was my first question too. But then you think about it some more and you’re like, OK guy, maybe there’s that one part in Speed 2 where she’s talking to Willem Dafoe but really her words were meant for you (they weren’t). Or whatever.  But then, like me, you have to wonder, “Why April Wine?” You know? Because like, supposing for one second this connection dude has with Sandra Bullock is real (it’s not), why not go with something she likes when you reply with a crazy fucking YouTube video. I don’t know, The Eagles? I bet Sandy loves the Eagles. Or, like, Tiny Dancer? Everybody loves fucking Tiny Dancer. You know who Sandra Bullock’s not into? April Wine. You know how I know? Nobody’s into April Wine. So whatever chances he had (none), totally blown to shit.

Go look at this, and make sure you scroll through all the pictures. I don’t know who did this or why, but I think it might be one of my top five favorite things I’ve ever seen on the internet. Because like, I get how you’d get that first picture of Christian Bale and want to find a picture of Kermit the frog that matches up with it (no I don’t). I even get trying to find two matches, or five,  but what keeps me up at night is like, there’s fifty of them. How did he (or she) know to keep looking? Like when I had found twelve pictures of Christian Bale that looked like 12 pictures of Kermit the Frog, I would of been like, “wow, I can’t believe I found that many pictures of Christian Bale that had corresponding pictures of Kermit the Frog to go with them.” Not this guy. This guy was like, “Oh 12, I would imagine I’m about a quarter of the way through this whole Christian Bale/Kermit the Frog project I’ve undertaken for no reason.” Do you see how insane that is? You do right?
